Science!

A colorful heatmap showing proteomic data normalized with different approaches

I do science.

I am a professional bioinformatician, which is a hybrid of molecular biology, statistics, and computer science.

I contribute to peer-reviewed papers. There is a public-facing listing of my work here: Google Scholar.

Like many open scientists, I use ORCID to uniquely identify myself. Here is a link to my ORCID account.

The above banner is just a bunch of random images I have drawn over the last 15-20 years. Just stuff I've found on my hard drive and thrown together in no particular order--because science is fun.

I'm currently hoping to write about the following,

1. Bioinformatics and knowledge engineering

2. Other random things that I have opinions on that I would like to make public

3. The scientific rational of my fiction and TTRPG writing

4. My thoughts on careers in science, specifically, bioinformatics and translational medicine.

But, until I get some more content on my page, this will be a boring little site on the corner of the blog!

Please feel free to leave a comment below about what you'd like me to write. I'm always interested in what people are looking for.
